to bottom   NGC 3079 - A COLLISION IN PROGRESS

WATCH FOR THESE FEATURES IN THE IMAGES BELOW

Doodads
on the (green/red)
outer lower core rim have a look
and feel similar to doodads on the rim of the
Crab Nebula. The subject of 'doodads'
is also explored here.

A volcano arm
issues from the side
of Ngc 3079 in a miasmasmic
layer below the core deck, and two
cowlings are major upright openings in the
side canopy of the galaxy to the right of center.
The first images next, are window pairs which
show the 'volcano arm', and the 'cowlings'

Major tympanum zone in right flank shows an impact collision. A large opaque oval is matter of opposite electric charge, from another galaxy.

COLLISON IN PROGRESS

Because
the color media
is so different within the
bulge in which the cowlings occur, I think
we are looking at the other galaxy, I think a collision
is in progress with two galaxies co-incidentally edge on already
well merged. Noticable differences in color media apparently reveal
a collision in progress at the LMC galaxy. And Ngc 4945 is also
in a chaotic trashed state seemingly the temporary aftermath
of merging collision or of a yo-yo causing sideswipe

Huge cowlings are seen in galaxy Ngc 4945

Dss image
of Ngc 4945 - very
smoky surroundings. The fact
that the giant light circles seem
smokiest is a co-incidence, at least,
co-incidental for the right
hand giant circle

The
Dss view of
Ngc 4945 shows the
same, more or less, as the
all colors show above, faint silent
matter better seen in blue lengthens the cigar

Volcanic arms are featured here.

This
image has
been trimmed clean by
edit processing. The lower edge of
the galaxy abrupts in clean interface with deep space
where black media lines an edge where content has been scrubbed away

DANCING CAULDRON (OF ELECTRICALLY DISCHARGED FINGERS ?)

A dancing
caldron of flickering
fingers of red flame continues
rising along the length of Ngc 3079
above the western half, and, of course,
the whole west end is a savaged wreck
like downtown after an earthquake

CENTER VIEW

There
is striking
similarity between
the centers of Ngc 3079 and
Ngc 4945, the difference being that
Ngc 4945 is rolled a little more toward us
and its disk rotated a little more clockwise
wherein less of the upper surface dish of
the top center area is seen. Otherwise
the two galaxy center areas are
remarkably alike, telling
us the two may have
had similar
histories
regards impacts
by shards and collisions,
perhaps both galaxies are still in semi
chaos and oscillations in the final stages of mergers

NGC 3079 ORIGINAL

The
original
hardly shows a
thing, relatively speaking.
The original enhanced shows forms all
along the upper hem just glimpsed even with great
enhancement attempts, with the lower edge cut away completely
by a razor blade mainly because everything extemporanious to
the main theme (dancing red flames above a 'cauldron')
was scrubbed clean away from the image, an
example where an image has been
engineered to confirm a
point even when
the image
engineering
may be destroying, a
point - that the cauldron is
a consequence of a trashing collision

As suspected,
a Dss image enhanced,
shows a galaxy well advanced in size
and disruption, serene it is definately not

A long
fluke extends
south, and deep space dim
trails extend north, meaning there
is far more to this torpedo than first
meets the eye. Another torpedo, classed
as a 'pipe stem', has far more than
first meets the eye, when its
image is enhanced

Another
black and white
supplied online by the
Kopernic Astro Society NY
shows a large stealth bomber when
enhanced. Prong jutting straight
south off the right flank
needs investigating
it may be
news
