HIGHER   BROWSER   IMAGE RESOLUTION

Even though browsers only manage 74 DPI for image resolutions, sharper more
detailed images are gained by displaying larger images in smaller format,
the amount of information in the larger, (original) squeezed into the
smaller (displayed) translates into more small details. It is a
very convenient device, whose downside is disappointing
longer load time for the larger images. In
Space Anomalies, a convention
is to reduce any large
image to a Width
of 400, to
speed up
load, and,
conserve disk
space in the ISP server.
Where necessary, a larger image has
been slugged for 'click' to see it, or, when best
taste requires a larger image is used, but most images are within
the range of 450 to 250 in Width, with the highest number at around 600
in Width. Why 400 is because it is displayed at 300 Width, the extra
100 points in width allows for some small modicum of concentration
of details in the browser allowing for a cleaner looking
image than if reduced right down to 300 Width

VIRTUAL STEREO AS A RESEARCH TOOL - YOU CANNOT DO BETTER

Virus

Virtual stereo can put you right there (can spot
irregularities instantly) which otherwise - at that
small focus - require extreme industrial
complex techiques to spot at all

Minute imperfections on the surface
upon which the virus lay, are easily seen in
virtual 3D. Surface errors not seen at all or even
suspected in the Mono original's surface physics
are seen at once in self evident view, using
3D imaging techniques that only take
a few minutes to set up, for a

Electrons

Leptons are carriers of interfacing 3D 'phase'

that theoretically all Leptons may have the talent (including
Neutrinos). If Muon stereoscopic mono photography
is experimentally verified, it will confirm
a stunning new fundamental property

that Lepton carrier

SONIC EXPERIMENT MONO PHOTOS - HEXAGRAM FORMS RE-ENFORCED ORIGINAL RESONANCES TO REPRODUCE STEREOPHONIC SOUND FROM MONO

A few
      photos from a
5 year sound experiment
on how to re-awaken stereophonic
sound in mono recordings and single speaker
playback, show that Virtual 3D is a reality and not
a fallacy. These photos were taken with a dirt cheap 110mm
camera and most were very dark and brooding when devloped through
ill maintained machines that shot the strips through faster than the
speed of light (you know the type of photo finishers I mean). And yet,
despite being blasted out the door and out past the intersection
by high enhancement levels, still come through with more
than enough 3D stereo to make the point. Genuine
3D exists in mono-only pictures

WHAT CAN GO WRONG

Every action has an
equal and opposite malfunction

(Cliff Livingstone 1998)

Hints are forever free
in illusion vrs Reality

What can
go wrong. Plenty.
Mainly, an image can break
into vertical strips that overlap.
For instance the next image has broken up
into overlapping vertical strips. The strips will
vanish if the image is rotated 90 degrees and re-displayed
but this is not always desirable. A solution for vertical strips
is to play with the numbers varing display size, changing one
of the Widths by 1 or 2 points or have both Widths the
same to find a parameter that is clean, the
tradeoff being the 3D stereo may not
be as pronounced

VERTICAL STRIPS - 'venetian blind' display deffect

Thin splits
close together are
like blinds r' us for your

that one edge of each slit is closer to
the eye. It makes it impossible for a
picture with vertical slits to
be definative

IMAGE 3 - Great stereo, problem, a venetian blind strip vertically down the middle where two halves of the image are stereoscopically separated

Vertical
venetian blinds
totally destroy this strip
of 3 images. The solution is a change of
just one +point in width, making all three widths the same

VIRTUAL 3D STEREO IS PROVEN BY SELF EVIDENT DEMONSTRATION

The
above Image 3
is a 3D vista panarama
no matter whether viewed going
crosseyed to focus the image pair together,
or letting your eyes drift out of focus. The stereo
is inherent in the photograph. Since this is a single mono
picture scanned from an old magazine, the two images are
identical down both borders. One image is displayed
in width -2 points less than the other and both
are displayed at +15 points increase
over original height, with one
of the images increased
further in height
by +2 points

The
slight
fraction of
a percent difference
in the two as displayed brings
forth substantially more stereo. The
degree of change in height is arbitrary to
each image with no fixed rule as to how much to
increase an image's height in display, the only
rule being that increased height translates
directly into increased horizontal
depth when stereo is viewed.
If you
download
both images you
will find them both the
same and your computer will not
accept the second download without prompting

The fact
of such self
evident stereo in
a mono image changed not one
twit or twaddle by any computer means
or artificiality is proof that the stereo exists
in the image, and altering the image's size
parameters by fractions of a percent in
display positively re-enforces
the image's intrinisic
stereo content

THIS EXTREMELY STRETCHED HEIGHT WORKS

This
next item
is cited (exampled)
because of an unusual amount
of image stretching. The Widths are
out of synch by +6 points, the Heights are
out of synch by +6 points. And the Heights are +29
and +35 points above original. In this example, the extra
Height does translate into a greater perception of stereo
depth. This image has filtered out foreward from a
project first done nearly 5 years ago circ.
early 1997, and is still in use today
still using original numbers
since no other numbers
have been found to
improve the
stereo

Widths= +289, +305. Heights= +373, +367. Original size - Width=300x388

HOW CAN A MONO PHOTO BE STEREO

Concider
the event of a
picture of the Moon
turned upside down and instantly
the craters turn into buttons, an eerie event
commonly called an Optical Illusion. But it is far more
than that. What information from originating photons has been stored
in media to be able to change the surface look of a Moon photo
completely just by turning it upside down? All the
thoughts you can have about that phenomena
still won't take you to a quick
answer. Stereo in mono
pictures is in
league with
the same
eerie

VIRTUAL STEREO IS PROVEN

Here
next, is
the image side by
side as two identical monos,
both have a Width of 298, and a Height of 711

EQUAL IMAGES - both are the original size

You
thought
the above 'over
looking desert beyond' stereo
image was computer generated. Quess
again. It is nothing more than two identical
images simply staged in full size side by side, no
deceptions, no manouvers, no subterfuge, the
picture is genuine, the stereo is correct.
So now oh sneerer, try and criticize
your best skepticism, you can't.
Truth is self evident

3D IN A MONO IMAGE IS GENUINE

Two identical images side by side - stereo presence is self evident

Discussion about cross hatch of incident light rays striking all four corners of an image frame in hologram fashion

If
you
think
the 3D in
the above image
was computer generated,
guess again. These are two identical
images presented displaced in view side by side,
the 1st actually just two side by side images. The stereo is
a latent holography in the original mono image, the fact that
true stereo is engaged by interference with cross hatch
incident light rays striking the screen is your
new physics - binnocular vision is only
one way stereo is possible. A single
eyeball cannot focus two images
together, however two eyes
can focus two identical
images together to
gain another
form of
stereo,
this being
'virtual' since
no real physical image
exists where the stereo is seen
as a 3rd (3D) view between two monos. In
comparison, a binnocular stereo view presents one
picture where there were two, or one image by focusing together
two ghost images as found in red-green anaglyphs and
pictures seen with red-blue 3D glasses. An aspect
not appreciated by 3D purists (scientists)
is that height imparts a component to
3D views not just width and image
displacement. For instance
the latent 3D in the
above outcrop
of rock
overlooking
step plane can be
marginally increased by
increasing the height of a picture
by about 5 or more pixel points for example in
a computer graphic image. See the 'second
view' above for what a small gain in the
'height' of a picture can do for
virtual stereo. The height
has been stretched by
only .015 percent

Obviously
the stereo is
only partial, in
particular the distant
desert hills are not rolling
out into a vanishing horizon deep
in the distance, but you must admit
that for a mono photo this scene has one
handsome load of stereo, and, it is all
genuine, no weird topoloy, if a dog
was in the picture the dog's
3D tail would still be
wagging behind the
dog where it is
supposed to be

One
other
aspect of
virtual stereo
you may need to know -
if viewing the 3D scene by gently
going cross eyed, the resulting virtual image
will be about 1/3 smaller. When viewing in 'drift' focus,
letting the eyes drift out of focus until a new focus arrives
(as if focusing to the next street over), the image will
be full size and more details will be clearly seen

PROBLEMS - THE VENETIAN BLIND EFFECT

VERTICAL STRIPS - 'venetian blind' display deffect

BOTH WIDTHS IDENTICAL - no venetian blinds

A venetian
blind effect can
occur when the two widths
are not identical, it puts vertical
image mismatch errors down the height, for
instance in the above the first view has venetian
blinds right down the image making some details hard to
interpret and exaggerating the stereo separation between
some rocks. In the second view both widths are the same
and no venetian blind error is seen. By the way the
effect is very much like patching errors in
astronomy images where two small
segments patched together

a telescope

of the same
image density resulting

Subtle venetian blinds confuse Andromeda details

100% PURE TEST DRIVE FOR VIRTUAL STEREO
HOW IS VIRTUAL STEREO POSSIBLE?

Click here for related principles in optical illusions

When
a camera
takes a mono
image not only do point
source light rays strike the film
in all straight line point source vectors,
cross indicent ambiant rays from all quarters also
strike the film, for instance rays from the upper left of the
view-frame striking the lower right view-frame of the camera,
and visa versa, a sea of cross-hatched incident rays, the results
totally in accord with hologram principles, the cross hatching
imbedding a matrix of 3D imprinted into the film itself.
The picture is viewed after the fact in side-by-side
pair, the small differential gained by the two
image separation, is more than enough
to re-engage the 'cross hatch' in a
possitively re-enforcing way,
the result being some of
the original view's
stereo recreated
in a 'virtual'
format by
the two
image
side by
side focusing
of the two images into
a 3rd 'virtual' image in between.
The cross hatch is extremely high frequency,
that is, not major point to point source long distance
wavelengths are involved, rather, extremely accute small
measure wavelengths are focused, the kind of waves seen
in moire patterns when an oil slick imparts a moire
pattern on the surface of a dish of water. The
'moire' is intrinsically defined enough
that even far distant views such as
a deep space galaxy can be seen
in 3D form. The 3D form is
captured in any radiant
manner whose carrier
waves are Leptons,
these include
radio to
x-rays and
include images
by electrons as with
an electron microscope. Now you
know how 3D in a mono picture is possible. The
existence of a cross-hatch 'moire' in any mono picture
is proven without question by the advent of optical illusions:
a picture of a crater on the Moon turned upsidedown presents a
button on the Moon, the crater has vanished in an optical
illusion. The explanation for this is simple, a camera
sailing over the Moon in a satellite captures a
crater illuminated by ambiant light rays
from the Sun striking the crater at
oblique angles which then
reflect on into the
camera at other
oblique
angles. When
the satellite sails
over the crater from one direction,
then another, the crater looks the same from all
angles. However, the instant the satellite's camera captures a
crater's picture, all of the unique oblique angles of the light rays
in effect at that instant in time are captured in the camera and
the only way to re-see the crater correctly after the fact
is to view the resulting crater image later in setting
which approximates the oblique angles of light
which were stiking the crater at that time.
Home alone months later ambiant light
rays are so totally different, when
striking the now 2 dimensional
flat image on printed page
at angles totally not
the same as when
the Sunlight
struck the
crater.
The result
is an optical
illusion, if the
image on page is not
approximated in an allignment
sufficiently coherent enough to re-engage
the original Sunlight's ambiant cross-hatch moire pattern
of incident striking light rays. When 'out of alignment', the crater
photo on page will be a round mound, when in alignment with rays
from your room, the crater will be a crater. A whole lot
of physics is embodied in this simple phenomena of
an optical illusion, the principles themselves
going back straight to first cause in the
optics of visibility and perception
in the universe. 2 dimensional
views are a total illusion,
totally misleading, 3
dimensional views
are the only
way to
view the
universe. The
sheer number of photos
you see with mounds instead
of craters attests to the reluctance of
astronomers and publishers to uphold to the
first laws of pure and correct physics - orient
the picture correctly, do not show an
optical illusion to the public
at large - Greydon Moore

Another
convention is to
avoid using long filenames
at all cost - I cannot stand tilds ~ I cannot
handle their presence I do not like them and only when all
graphic image filenames and url HTM filenames are 8 characters
most can I avoid tilds because believe me whenever a tild
shows up I do what it takes to get rid of it even if it
means recoding several pages and click links to
banish the tild while keeping each filename
separate and intact so no two separate
files can overright each other due
to having the same name, a
rigorous writing means
but well worth the
effort, might
seem pointless
until you find yourself
in the task of keeping track of over
60,000 astronomy images, zooms and enhancements
spread through several large directories in two 50 gig hardrive,
if you are familiar with Windows unlikeables you will instantly
understand how confusing tilds are in filenames and how
risky they are, for instance tilds 1 to 15 in
one directory, copied in quantity only
7 files selected from the 15 into
another, results in a whole
new order of filenames
in the tilds, thank
you Microsoft,
and I have
only once lost
control of images (about
100 of 150) when Microsoft renamed them
all for me after a copy into another directory which
had careful tild names for similar images, you do not want to
hear the story of how hard it was to straighten out that mess. So
why do astronomers want to use up to 37 characters for a
filename (the record I have seen so far) when eight
simple characters works just fine, without
frying the brain or frustrating your
work due to file losses thanks
to tilds, an astronomer at
task in their own
machine might
be well at
home with 37
characters in a
filename but they are
delivering tilds to the next
taker and there is where caution has
to be taken by the giftee reciever every time,
slowing down the world, not by a deep sucking sound,
but an eerie squeeking shriek. Actually, since we are on
the topic, two or three characters for a filename is
also a kneecapper since many astronomers do use
only the minimum and these miminums can
clash with catastrophic results if
the sleepy enthusiast is not
paying attention to every
last step occuring on
a computer screen.
For instance,
P3.jpg, how
many times have
you downloaded a P3.jpg.
M51.jpg is another name that gets
in the way of smooth flow all too often

LETTING IT FLOG ON THE TABLE

Like those who have become advocates of an aspirin a day keeping the strokes away, I have become a recent advocate of so much liquore keeping the medicine away, only so much, never having been a heavy imbiber I do a can a day of a certain Danish beer with a certain mml size and %content which fits the bill as ideal for daily consumption, and have found that the daily consumption ruins daily, the capacity to focus eyeballs (as in viewing newspaper cartoon stereograms) exactly at a certain moment after consuming the daily quotient.

Yes, the eyes will simply not focus. It is simply impossible to pull two images together in stereo focus and, trying going crosseyed to get the focus, little helps because the cross-eyed yangs in and out, yinging, despite my best efforts at muscle control.

So, you, if having had a shot or two before looking at any one of my pages in Galaxies in Chaos, and slurrily mutter 'wad the fuck is this yup up to', wait till you sober, I tell you sincerely from the front end of my heart that you cannot focus my pictures in stereo if you have had more than a critical percent of alkahol in your lunch a certain time before trying to focus any of my pictures.
