The work
station where
the entire Newsonic
Photo Story was put together.
A standup display in a small vice on
the worktable holds 2 Xerox color images of
two slightly different sizes which were first used
to investigate Virtual 3D Stereo properties, the two images
(of a shallow river with humans standing waste deep near the camera
and further away) was studied with one and two large magnifying
glasses held far back to be completely out of focus but
when the two images were visually merged into one
by overfocusing, a very small range in the
magnification was a live zone where
the two merged pictures became
noticably stereoscopic.
Insights learned
with this
helped.

Hardly seen
a Hewlett Packard
Scanjet 4P sits low and
grey on the table to the left of
the computer case. A sony speaker phone
cum portable (black) sits between the scanner
and the computer. On top of the computer is a ZIP
drive which uses 100 meg large diskette cookies.
Under the river scene on the standup display
in the vice are two small pictures of the
Great Wall of China. These ordinary
details are pointed out only for
those who might have wished
to know what is actually
in the above noticablly
stereoscopic picto of
the work area, made
from a single mono
photograph.

The baggy
with the two
envelopes thumbtacked
to the living room wall contains
two pieces of interesting history. Both are
from the White House USA circ. 1995. The white envelope
is from Al Gore (Vice President) expressing appreciation for our
anti-virus program called Virus Alert. The large brown mail
protect envelope contained a stiff cardboard insert
protecting a letter from Bill Clinton the US
President also regards Virus Alert, the
package sent so the letter could be
mounted. It is common to see
thinkers and inventors
arm in arm beside
kings queens
and prime
ministers,
this however
are two letters to
individuals who still roll
pennies for a jug of milk as low
level income still leads the way and every
available cent is spent on low budget creative projects
such as this, the Newsonic Photo Story.
