SUNFLOWER GALAXY M63

M63

M63 turns out to be one of those grunting numbers amongst galaxies which start out small and turn out to be HUGE when their dim mass components are suitably enhanced in a graphic editor's adjusters

A digital photo by Gender shows the inner whirl admirable. What was not realized is the amount of extra information gained by the accute concern with inner details, the extra information comprising a huge roiled undercarriage and giant surrounding lopsided diffuse halo large enough to make the galaxy almost round like an elliptical but with inner structures

A foremost feature are striations in the undercarriage showing a sideswipe collision of more recent rather than more ancient vintage. A pecular long straight line extends the striations to the left, the nature of such a singular outstanding crack in the galaxy undercarriage is not explained by the image per se

The Gendler image is incomplete, in the sense that it does not expand well in enlargements to show more detail (Hubble images often expand to show astronishing fine details when the expansions are enhanced, in contrast. Nevertheless what can be seen by the Gendler view is a galaxy which is very askewed the rear flanges flare high into the sky in deep space and the forward quartdeck is as deep as a triple decker hamburger

Also, the left edge is veered down, the right end comes up in a swoosh that widens rapidly as it arcs up over the right side haunch of the galaxy

A huge barrel shaped overplus below leaning to the right is exposed in a series of 5 different views each view casting a different subtle bong on the existence of the major overplus comprising the galaxy's size

A view of M63 from a Dss plate shows sparce details while showing a sizeable drift of low glow diffuse matter extending out to the right.

A view of M63 by Subaru shows much the same thing with differences. The striations below are not as well seen in the Subaru view

FINAL CONTENTRATION STAGE - SUNFLOWER GALAXY

Sunflower galaxies such as M63 next, may be longarms which have finished their winching windup phase of evolution, where bar core rotation has slowed by matter packing up closer to the core in stacked layers, the bar core begins to spread out, loosing its characteristic bar core appearance

M63 has a core deeply insunk inside a lopsided pincushion
