Boldly
courageous
intense blue enhancement
reveals thousands of hot blue star forming figures

Long thin antenna arms, time stamped signatures showing the start of collision. Also, dark holes.

A Subaru
image shows large
extended dust clouds similar
to deep space dust reaches seen in
the black and white old photo
immediately above

This blurry
Subaru image of
the Antennae galaxies is actually
a mother load of useful information regards
dynamic size and scope of these now seen much larger
colliders. For instance the center brown area has been
gouged right out, there is a huge deep narrow vertical
dropping incise cleaved as a rifted valley very deep,
where the nested tympani have formed from
powerful percussive supersonics

Because
of the abruptly
cut sharp edges along
the deep rift valley (cleavage),
an impression is created that a third fast
moving galaxy is involved. The impression may
be correct, it is an easy interpretation.
Either that (third galaxy), or, the
right hand galaxy was actually
far bigger far denser than
seems and a left arm
has plowed rapidly
and powerfully
in a major
fast
moving
strike into
soft cheese creating the
abrupt valley with nested tympani

Next,
faint short
thin filaments stream
into the cyclonnic cloud at the
top. The only other place I have so far
seen cyclonnic clouds is above Boris in M51

This
blurry Subaru
image has shown that
the Antennae interraction
is extremely dynamic extending
far beyond the main bright portion of
the two galaxies. Dim matter roils
in surrounding deep space

A 'woodtick' sticks to the side.

Images shows powerful tympanis clustered in the middle between the two galaxies.
