THE DEEP SPACE BACKDROP AROUND SOME OBJECTS IS RIPPLED

ENHANCED LARGE M101 IMAGE SHOW STRIATED SHEETS, AND SAND DUNE DRIFTS

Images
downloaded
from this NOAO
spiral galaxies images site
cannot reliably be used to estimate the
mass of the galaxy, and therefore do not represent
reliable indicators of mass in the universe. Each of the
images in the following selection, show enormous large scale
structures in and around each galaxy, the enormous structures
existing in luminescent ranges far below those ranges used
to capture the galaxy's most hot matter image. It means
many (if not most) astronomy images used to estimate
mass are using only the hottest mass (most
easily seen) for the estimates

From
this M101
original we make
intense color enhancements,
from which one shown full size has rills

RILLS IN SPACE

In this
image you can
easily see strong waves,
particularly in the lower left portion
of the image. These waves (seen in large scale)
are in lineally striated runs somewhat like large
scale patterns of sand dunes as seen on Mars

The
massive
image above in
high color versions
showing dune-like rills in
deep space, is of spiral galaxy M101.
I had lost track of the original's source, among
some 65,000 or so images it is not surprising.
It is a NOAO image of M101 which opens
up to a title caption 'M101 Mosaic'
downloaded from their galaxy
site at NOAO

DEEP SPACE IS RIPPLED AND STREAKED IN VIEW OF ANDROMEDA

There are
a number of small
green streaks seen in this
highly enhanced image when viewed full
sized. A couple of the streaks are straight lines one in
the upper right corner quite long indicating a satellite or meteor
crossing the telescope's view field during exposure however some
of the green streaks are curved or noticably irregular and it
begs all questions to ask what these might be. Also,
bands and drifts of bluish tone seemingly may be
actual sheets of lightweight and heavy
drifts of matter almost in a lazy
striated sheeting either near
or around Andromeda or in
the distance between
us and there.
In fact
though none
but this image show
sheets rather well, vertical
sheeting in parallel striations seem to
occur in Andromeda images in general when any
image is very highly enhanced, for instance enhanced to
where details of the main Andromeda are lost to total white out

LMC/SMC LOCAL SPACE IMAGE SHOWS RIPPLES AND STREAKS BETWEEN GALAXIES

The Large
Magellanic Cloud (LMC),
and Small Magellanic Cloud (SMC)
are seen in a single wide angle image.
They are very small, and very wide apart

Original - hardly anything is seen. LMC at left, SMC at right

This
NOAO image
seems to show ripples
and streaks in interstellar space
between LMC and SMC. The patterns mostly
vertical are seen only when the original is
enhanced almost beyond any reasonable
expectation however the original
was filmed in such a way
that massive image
gains via
image
editor
adjustments
is possible. In
particular a strong
extension of LMC (galaxy at
the left) trails downward in disturbed
stars and space ripples, perhaps a snapshot of LMC's
deep space motion and direction in our local galaxy cluster

Some
of the streaking
may be emmulsion wash, if
this image is a photograph and not
originally digital. Two thick vertical bands
down the right border suggests emmulsion, or,
perhaps, there really is a straight line
ribbon of deep space compression
only an edge of it captured
in this picture

OPINION

There
is an opinion
here at image headquarters
that deep space fabrics are rippled
not smoothly homogenous that if galaxy and
galaxy cluster images are captured in the right
light frequencies the rippling will show
to be very pervasive and in many
regions pronounced. GM.

To test
the hypothesis I
downloaded a giant image at random
from the NOAO site and when suitably enhanced they
too revealed 'goodies'. Click here to see the
