TONGUES
This
next Orion
view is known as
the
2Mass image in multi
infra red. What we are doing with
the image is boosting it to show there is
more to the image than meets the weak
eye, and a giant tongue in the image can
be easily shown to be a common star
field phenomena, for instance
it is not unlike a giant
tongue which shows up
in the famed
Eagle
Nebula view by
Hubble
Famed
Eagle Nebula view by Hubble
Once
you see
tongues like
this you see tongues
like this everywhere in astronomy
images. There are so many tongues, so commonplace.
I do not even have to try and catalogue them to prove
their existence. Once you have seen two, as shown
above, you will begin to recognize 'tongues'
as commonplace occuring everwhere.
What causes tongues. Hmmmm.
Seems like a pointless
question, until you
try and figure
the dynamics
that actually
forms a tongue. And
then, my friend, you are out
on a swing theoretically conjecturing
because the cause of tongues is NOT self evident
LONG DISTANCE SNAKE
Note
that the
stereo-paired
color views above, in
3D, reveal a tubular top that
is actually a v e r r r r r y long tube
snaking away deep into the distance,
whereas the mono view suggests
a top that is knobby and
round like the gear
shift knob in
your hot
car
Histogram Equalize, plus strong extra increases in image
density, certainly blow away the fine details (eyestalks, eggs)
but reveals fundamentals riddled with straight line fractal
formations ghosting everywhere
The Eagle Nebula far away - by Mt Polamar - movie
Different
cameraman, different
techniques, different telescope,
this next AAT image of the Eagle Nebula
certainly shows you what can happen to
an astronomy object under different
aspects of an astronomer's
telescope and ergo
interpretation

Discover
Channel on TV
in a documentary on the
correction of the myopic Hubble
lens when first lofted, tells us that the
Eagle Nebula quite far off in the galaxy is so
huge that were its pillar the size of the Empire
State Building, our Sun would be smaller
than a mote of dust. The stars
which seem so big in the
vacinity of the
Eagle are
big
by dint of
radiant intensity

CONTINUED
The
above
object
in a very
well known Hubble
mosiac of Orion's Trapezium
has the form and feel to be definately
another Tympani resonator in an active star field
(where new stars are rapidly formed). The original via
Hubble only shows a lump protruding, however deft
experimental enhancements by the GIC image
engineer (Greydon Moore) have produced
the following views which show a
typical Tympani form, albiet
not distinct and not
perfectly self
evident
From Trapezium image
From another image (right), so well
matched the two versions merge in stereo
Here is
another 'Tympani' view,
delivered intact from
this site
Original
Acutely
detailed sharp
images of the Trapezium
are not easily come by due to overcasts
of dust and haze that make clear views of the Trapezium
difficult. This Hubble view (in which as been found a 'Tympani
resonator') is a composite of many photoshoots by Hubble to
come up to the views we see in mosaic originals. Infra
red and near infra red photography has been able
to peer through the overlaying haze but
infra red images I have looked at
do not seem to have exposed
any fractal geometry
patterns, the
fractal
shapes
seem to
be coherent
in only certain
frequencies, for instance a
green view from Mt. Palomar shows
the Crab Nebula riddled with hexagrams but
all other images of the Crab do not, save for one,
which shows fractal hexagrams around the chimney pipe
surrounding one of the Crab's magnetic poles, this
a new image from the
ESO Paranal Camera
whose hexagram riddles are clearly
seen in bold red light
AN ACTUAL SHORT STORY
How
astronomy
lore works around,
comes around. Last night on
TV at 4 am, I happened to catch an
hour long episode on the Hubble telescope
dealing with the devastating discovery that its
primary lens was flawed, so severely inept that it
had less than the focus of many earth telescopes
except in extremely precise close-ups where
the lens flaw didn't matter. Then a
hodge podge team of over 30
gathered from around
the world to
parlay
and
hash the
problem, the
experts gathered from
any and every discipline who might
have an insight even if not an astronomer, to
come to grips with a way to resolve the Hubble faulty lens
issue came up with a solution to insert small adjuster lenses into
the array just before the image entered the cameras. The first results
that came through after Shuttle Astronauts did the job to install
the new apparatus in space in Hubble were met with extreme
jubulating shouts from Hubble imaging engineer team
members because for the first time they saw
a Hubble image that was easily 10 times
accuman possible on Earth at that time
THE OTHER IMAGE
The TV news broadcast hour long story featuring fix of the
Hubble telescope kept focusing again and again on the
Eagle Nebula, explaining that if it was the
height of the Empire State Building,
our Sun would be less then the
size of a speck of dust
in comparison.
Sitting
there,
on the
$1200
sofa someone
gave me, I kept noticing
another image the TV story flashed on
screen more than once - Hubble's first look at
Orion's Trapezium. On 29 inch TV, a single tiny pop
in the Trapezium image kept extruding in my face. It
was a hobby knob that kept looking kinda familiar,
knowing what I know about Tympani resonators
in galaxy star fields. Today I used
Rogers Home Internet speed
to cruise the Internet
ethers looking for
images and
found
the
original
Hubble Orion
Trapezium original
and none other, the low DPI
resolution in image is the only one
I could find that astronomer's have kept
available for public consumption. The Orion
Tympani you see above is that image.
End of short story
THE HORSEHEAD IS ACTUALLY A 'TONGUE'
Now
you can
see what the
Horsehead looks
like. It's a tongue
Original - magnified
A wide
slanted curved
slash which abruptly
jogs up at some distance away
back into the picture, it is turned
sideways like the hood of a cobra looking
offscreen westward, is what this is. The
dark areas within the slash are dark,
no amount of stark enhancement
induces more to appear
