The   Red Ryder Ray   in Orion

A RED STREAK TURNS UP IN AN ORION IMAGE

A long
streak, in red,
has turned up under high
enhancement, this streak is entirely
coherent in character, it is intermittant
and looks to be in Orion rather than from a local
sky source in the negative. It looks strong
here. Actually it is a very thin streak,
too thin to show clearly its full
strength in smaller image
sizes used for 3d pairs

As you can see
above,
the
red streak
seems to be passing
both over, and through, clumps
of matter, creating a coherency that
strongly points to a phenomena in Orion,
here, and not a flaw in the negative or streak
in the local Earth zodiac. One suggestion is that
a super high frequency powerful laser ray not seen,
is cutting through medias of gas the excited state
in the media re-radiating as red light, so that
the pass of the laser beam is being seen
but not the laser ray itself

Left end of the ray

Every way I look at it, the Red Ray
seems to initiate at a small
star at the Ray's left end

Original

Gain of
+100 points
in blue and green
enhancement together reveals
nothing more about the ray, the ray
is about the same as it is in the original,
which means its visibility is more or
less entirely confined to the
red bandwidth in this
Orion image

Histogram Equalize does not help see the ray's source

Red reveals plenty

Bold magnification (zoom) reveals nothing more regards the ray-source

The
Red Ray
initiates at its
left end at a star, and
gradually broadens slightly and
gets more jagged as it disappears out
of the image at the right, further
suggesting that the star-on-left
is a likely initiation source

The
very long
thin red streak
turns up only under very
high red enhancement. Next below
is a 'cut' from the original. The scene
is very dark in the 'cut' and the ray barely
seen. In the red color anhancements above, the
ray becomes bright and distinct, running in
a shallow angle from the lower right
corner of the views

A 'CUT' FROM THE ORIGINAL

The
red ryder
ray does not turn
up in more than a barely
recognizable trace in the original.
In the piece cut from the original shown next,
hardly a trace of the ray, hardly even one
piece of ray, not even one. The Red
Ryder Ray has turned up only
under extreme levels
of enhancement

The woven fabric effect is due to a very large image being displayed at 1/2 size, in full size is shown next

The strong white streak across the upper left is most likely a satellite trail

The Horse Head is seen as atiny projection outlined in white about 1/3 of the way down the left side of the above image.

Original full size

The
Horsehead
Nebula can be
seen part way down
on the left side

The
source of
this Orion photo
is not known here at Farstar.
Downloaded in haste in a hurried all night
web surfing session, the gallery source
was not recorded or saved. If any
person out there knows where
this image came from
I can then cite
an official
source

The Red Ryder ray is also featured in the GIC collection of interesting rays.
