THE THREE STOOGES - CHORTLE, YUK-YUK, HAR-HAR-HAR

At Beta Peg

In a Dss plate

It appears to be a meteor, with two reflection echoes one on either side. A thick path passing nearby to the right would seem to be the trail of a much larger meteor unfortunately the Dss jukebox got very stubborn about dishing an image with descension shifted further up, instead of dishing more below the jukebox hiccuped like a giant disco's dejay and started over with the star shifted well back down near center stage. Frustrated efforts were the result of trying to engage the meteor's giant head

A further attempt next day determined that the hiccup was not still occuring, instead a different plate was being brought in to continue lowering the declension, the different plate showed no sign of the meteors

In the meantime meet some of the carry on gang. These circles of light are all similar though each is unique in details, they match neither a telescope's typical light ring distortions around bright objects, nor any chthonians, but do match the echos in the three stooges

In this view, I have included the american eagle because it was hard to avoid not getting a piece of it in an enhanced zoom. The whole image is a hard task anyway to display online in a browser because it is spread out so far, the stooges below, plus migrating flying ringling brothers higher above to the left of the upper light spike, and the other flying trapeze artists near the american eagle. This is a large image and cannot be reduced much without extinguishing - shrinking out - the trapeze artists and the carry on gang

In a different plate altogether the flying trapeze sisters near the eagle have migrated to a lower horizon and have shrunk in size. Next, the two groups of trapeze artists are compared in composite

The american eagle seems too stiff to be wool hair, perhaps thatch from the undermat of a visiting professor's chair, loosed when the meteor was spotted banging across the visitor's best focusing minutes, all of a sudden the counter on the camera whirred at extra volume almost as stunned as the astronomers
